Level 2 Attainment report

The UK Government is currently reviewing the future of level 2 and below qualifications in the further education sector.

At City & Guilds Group we welcome the Government’s move to streamline and simplify the further education system and bring parity with the academic system. But it must be done sensitively and in collaboration with those who have an intimate understanding of the sector and the groups of people that it serves.

We have produced this report in collaboration with Research Base in which we interviewed key stakeholders from the Further Education sector to get their opinion on the changes that were looming because we wanted to create a channel for their voices which had not been clearly heard in this debate to date.
