The Trustee Board of The City and Guilds of London Institute
The Trustee Board of The City and Guilds of London Institute serves a key role in the governance of the City & Guilds Group.
The Trustee Board’s primary responsibility is ensuring the Group pursues its charitable objectives and that it remains financially robust.
The Trustee Board is comprised of members of the Council of The City and Guilds of London Institute who are elected to serve as Trustees. They represent a diverse range of industries, and bring a wealth of experience. Once appointed, they serve as Trustees for up to nine years.

Allan Johnston HonFCGI
Allan is the Vice-Chairman and Joint Honorary Secretary of City & Guilds. He has followed a career in the steel and aluminium industries, and was an Executive Director of Corus Group Plc. He was awarded Honorary Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2010.
Pat Stringfellow MBE HonFCGI
Pat is Joint Honorary Secretary of City & Guilds and is a keen advocate of individual learning and development. She was awarded an MBE for services to training in 2003 and Honorary Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2011.
David Illingworth BA FCA
David was a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. He's been a City and Guilds of London Institute Councillor since 2006.
Dr Tim Strickland
Tim is Chief Executive of FE Sussex.
Peter McKee HonFCGI
Peter is the Treasurer of City & Guilds. He is also the Executive Chairman of a small technology company, Golden Orb Systems. He was awarded Honorary Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2015.
Andy is the Accredited Programmes Manager for TUI Travel, UK & Ireland.
Dr Ann Limb OBE DL FCGI
Ann is Chair of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership. She is also Chairman of the Fellowship Committee and Skills Development Fund. She was awarded Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2002.
Dame Judith Hackitt DBE FREng FCGI
Dame Judith is Chair of the Health and Safety Executive. She is also a member of the Fellowship Committee and was awarded Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2008.
Professor Alison Halstead FCGI
Alison is Pro-Vice Chancellor for Strategic Academic Developments at Aston University. She was awarded Fellowship of City & Guilds in 2012.
